Leesburg Office Closed for Repairs after Car Crashes into Building
Customers Encouraged to Conduct Business through other Service Outlets
RICHMOND - The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles’ (DMV) Leesburg Customer Service Center is closed for repairs after a car crashed into the building on Tuesday January 29. Needed repairs could take another few weeks before the office can safely reopen to customers.
In the meantime, customers have a number of other service options available.
- A DMV 2 Go mobile office, which provides all DMV transactions, is on site to serve customers.
- During this closure or anytime, customers can conduct more than 30 transactions online at www.dmvNOW.com.
- Customers may also visit another nearby office. The Sterling DMV office is located at 100 Free Court, Sterling, 20164, and the Fairfax/Westfields Office is located at 14950 Northridge Drive, Chantilly, 20151.
- There are also three DMV Select locations nearby including the Leesburg DMV Select located at 1 Harrison Street SE, Leesburg, 20175, the Sterling DMV Select located at 21641 Ridgetop Circle, Suite 100, Sterling, 20166, and the Purcellville DMV Select located at 109 N. Bailey Lane, Purcellville, 20132. DMV Selects process a number of transactions including vehicle titles and registrations, license plates, and transcript requests.
