DMV 2 Go Returns for Service at the Fincastle Library
All DMV Services Available through Mobile Office
RICHMOND - The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles' (DMV) mobile customer service center will visit the Fincastle Library in Fincastle on Thursday, September 26. from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The DMV office on wheels provides all DMV services.
In recognition of its partnership with the library to provide mobile service for residents in Fincastle and Botetourt County, DMV will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. Local legislators and other dignitaries are slated to attend.
DMV 2 Go first visited the Fincastle Library in August of 2012, and has also visited in June and August of this year. The three stops resulted in nearly 200customer transactions.
"People who live and work in this area can take care of their DMV needs without having to drive a long distance," said DMV Commissioner Richard D. Holcomb. "The closest full service DMV offices to Fincastle are in Roanoke or Bedford, 30 to 45 minute drives for most residents, so why not take advantage of DMV service when it shows up on your doorstep?"
Customers are encouraged to research and bring the required documents to complete their transactions. To determine what documents are needed, use the interactive document guide at www.dmvNOW.com.
